Community guidelines

Last updated 16 October 2026

PlayersPuff works because people are willing to be a bit silly with a stranger. These rules exist to protect that.

The short version

  • Be a person someone would want to meet.
  • Do not contact, pursue or sexualise anyone under 18, ever.
  • Be who you say you are.
  • Take a no gracefully — a pass is not a rejection worth a reply.
  • Keep it on PlayersPuff until you both want otherwise.

What is never allowed

Anything involving a minor

This is the line we enforce most aggressively and with the least patience. Any sexual interest in a person under 18, any attempt to contact a minor from an adult account, any attempt to move a minor to another platform, and any sexual content involving minors results in an immediate permanent ban and a report to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) or its local equivalent where applicable. There is no appeal and no second chance.

Adults who misrepresent their age to reach the teen space are treated under this section, not as a verification error.

Harassment and hate

No slurs, no abuse, no threats, no sustained unwanted contact, no hate directed at anyone for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, gender, gender identity or sexual orientation. Disagreeing with someone is fine; demeaning them is not.

Sexual content and nudity

No nudity or sexually explicit content in photos, prompts, bios or chat. Sending unsolicited sexual images or messages is harassment and is treated as such. In the teen space, sexual content of any kind is prohibited outright.

Impersonation and deception

Use your own photos and your real age. No pretending to be someone else, no photos of other people, no misrepresenting who you are to gain someone’s trust or access to a space you do not belong in.

Scams, spam and solicitation

No crypto pitches, investment opportunities, gift card requests, sob stories asking for money, promotion of other services, recruitment, or commercial solicitation of any kind. No requests for money, however framed.

Violence, self-harm and illegal activity

No threats or glorification of violence, no encouragement of self-harm or suicide, no sale or promotion of drugs, weapons or illegal services. If you are struggling, we would much rather you reached out for help than said nothing — our safety team can point you to resources in your country.

Cheating and abuse of the platform

No automation, scripting, multiple accounts, evading a block or a ban, or exploiting a bug for advantage. Games are scored on our servers, so attempting to manipulate a result will simply fail, but trying is still a violation.

Extra rules in the teen space

These exist because 13–17 year olds are using it, and they are not negotiable:

  • No sharing contact details, social handles or links — these are blocked.
  • No arranging to meet in person. If you want to meet someone you know from here, involve a parent or guardian.
  • No romantic or sexual framing. The teen space is for making friends.
  • No asking anyone to move to another app.
  • No sharing where you live, your school, or anything that locates you specifically.

If an adult ever contacts you here, something has gone badly wrong on our side — report it immediately and we will treat it as critical.

What happens when someone breaks a rule

We use the smallest action that will actually solve the problem:

ActionWhen
WarningA first, minor violation where the intent looks careless rather than malicious.
Content removedA specific photo, prompt or message breaks the rules but the account does not need restricting.
Feature restrictedRepeated misuse of one thing — for example, losing photo uploads while keeping chat.
SuspensionA serious violation, or a pattern after a warning. Time-limited, and we tell you when it lifts.
Permanent banAnything involving a minor, credible threats, repeat serious violations, or ban evasion.

Every action is taken by a named moderator and recorded in an append-only audit log that cannot be edited or deleted, including by us. You will be emailed when an action is taken on your account, with the reason, except where telling you would compromise an active investigation involving a minor.

Appealing a decision

The email we send you includes an appeal link. Tell us what you think we got wrong and a different moderator than the one who made the decision will review it. We aim to respond within 72 hours.

Bans for child safety violations are not appealable. Everything else is.

Reporting someone

Use the safety menu in a game, a chat or on a profile. You can pick a category, add context, and choose whether to block them at the same time. We take the surrounding conversation as evidence automatically so you do not have to screenshot anything.

You can also email safety@playerspuff.com. Reporting is confidential: we never tell the person who reported them.
