Terms of service

Last updated 16 October 2026

The agreement between you and us. By creating an account you accept these terms.

Pending legal review. This document is a complete, good-faith draft written to match how PlayersPuff actually works. It has not yet been reviewed by qualified counsel in every market we operate in, and must be before launch. If anything here conflicts with your local statutory rights, your rights take precedence.

1. Who can use PlayersPuff

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are 13 to 17 you may use the teen space only, which is friends-only; dating features are not available to you. If you are 18 or over you may use the adult space. You may not hold accounts in both.

In some countries the law requires a parent or guardian to consent before a minor can use a service like ours. Where that applies to you, your account stays inactive until we have that consent.

You must give us your real date of birth and complete age verification. Lying about your age to reach a space you do not belong in is a serious violation and will result in a permanent ban. If you misrepresent your age in order to access the teen space, we will also report you to the relevant authorities.

You may not use PlayersPuff if you have previously been banned, if you are required to register as a sex offender in any jurisdiction, or if you have been convicted of a felony or indictable offence involving violence, sexual misconduct, or an offence against a minor.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure. One account per person. Do not share your account, sell it, or let someone else use it. Tell us promptly at support@playerspuff.com if you think someone else has access to it.

3. How you must behave

Our community guidelines form part of these terms, and breaking them is breaking this agreement. In summary, you must not:

  • Contact, pursue, sexualise or attempt to meet anyone under 18, or possess or share sexual content involving minors.
  • Harass, threaten, abuse or use slurs against anyone.
  • Post nudity or sexually explicit content.
  • Impersonate anyone, or use photos that are not of you.
  • Solicit money, promote a business, or run any kind of scam.
  • Use bots, scripts, scrapers or automation of any kind.
  • Hold multiple accounts, or evade a block or a ban.
  • Attempt to breach, probe or disrupt our systems.
  • Record, copy or redistribute another member’s photos or messages.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you post. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, store, resize, blur and display your content for the purpose of operating the service. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies retained in a moderation record where we are legally required to keep them.

You confirm that you own or have the right to post what you post, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.

We screen photos automatically before they are shown to anyone, and we may remove content that breaches these terms without notice.

5. Paid features

Premium subscriptions and Boosts are sold through Stripe. Prices are shown before you pay and include applicable tax.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • If you are a consumer in the UK or EU you have a statutory 14-day right to cancel a new subscription. Because the service is made available immediately, you acknowledge that beginning to use a premium feature may reduce the refund you are due, and we will refund proportionately for the unused part.
  • Boosts are consumed on use and are not refundable once activated.
  • Users under 18 cannot make purchases. If a purchase is made on an account that is later found to belong to a minor, we will refund it in full and close the account.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email. A price change never affects a period you have already paid for.

6. No guarantee of matches

We provide a place to meet people. We do not promise that you will match with anyone, that anyone will reply, or that any particular person is available. We do not run background checks on members and you should treat everyone you meet here with the same caution you would apply to any stranger.

Meeting someone in person is entirely your decision and at your own risk. Tell someone where you are going, meet somewhere public, and do not share your home address until you are confident.

7. Suspension and termination

We may warn you, remove your content, restrict a feature, suspend you or ban you permanently if you breach these terms. We will tell you what action we took and why, except where telling you would compromise an active investigation involving a minor.

You may close your account at any time from Settings. Closing it does not entitle you to a refund of a period already paid for, except where the law says otherwise.

Bans for child safety violations are permanent and not appealable. All other decisions can be appealed using the link in the email we send you.

8. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, we are not liable for the conduct of other members, whether online or in person; for indirect or consequential loss; or for loss of profit, data or goodwill. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or £100.

The service is provided “as is”. We work hard on availability but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you keep using PlayersPuff after that, you accept the new terms; if you do not accept them, you can close your account and we will refund any unused paid period.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in the EU or elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of your local law or of your right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
